Joyce was a child prodigy who started playing the piano at age three when she played one of her mum's Edith's pieces. Her mother taught her and her sister Mavis and they both became concert pianists. Joyce studies music formally in Guyana and the UK and was awarded her Fellowship in 1963. Joyce has performed in the UK, USA and the Caribbean. Here she is playing her own compositions.
